Meet Ellen Smith, our new Principal at Hamm Middle  School, about transitioning to middle school .  Meet and greet rising middle school parents.

If you have an agenda item you’d like to discuss at an upcoming meeting, please send it to ASAP. We will have child care for all potty trained children during the meeting.  Spanish translation will be provided.

STEM Night 

Wednesday, March 13, 6:30-8:00 pm – Glebe Hallways

Mark your calendars for the Glebe STEM Fair and get ready for an amazing night of invention and discovery by our young scientists and engineers!!!  We do need a few hands to help make the night go smoothly so please sign up here.   If you have questions, please contact our STEM Fair coordinator, Lauren Barber (email).

Happy on Wheels will come to Glebe and present to our kiddos during daytime assemblies.  Ask them what they learned!

The Social & Auction is a great way to socialize, make new friends, and raise funds for Glebe!  Over 70% of the PTA’s budget is raised at the Social & Auction!  See you there!

PTA positions – Treasurer open now and next year’s openings

We are IN NEED of interested folks looking to volunteer next year.  The majority of the current Executive Board will hit their term limit in June and will need to step down.  We NEED members of our community to volunteer to keep PTA support and activities going.  Please contact Kristen at if interested in any position.

Last Call Yearbook Photos

Want to see your child and their friends in an action shot in the yearbook?  This is the LAST call for all pictures of sports teams, candids, class events (Halloween, Holiday Parties, Valentine’s Day, 100th Day of School, etc.) If you have any pictures you would like to submit, please send high resolution photos to:

Please include the name of the activity and what grade(s) are represented.  If you have a large quantity of photos you can do a direct upload, contact for instructions.

Handmade Arlington 2018

April 7th 10 AM – 4 pm, Swanson Middle School

Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind arts and craft show! HANDMADE ARLINGTON will have more than 45 arts and crafts makers including many returning favorites and some great new ones too. There will be food trucks too, so you can spend the day.  Come out tosupport our community!  For additional details and a list of exhibitors see

Dining Out Week – Galley Foods

April 8 – 14th

Visit the week of April 8th and order a gourmet dinner delivered to your door!  Make sure to mention Glebe and a portion of the proceeds are donated to the PTA!


Science Fair

April 11th, 6:30 – 8 pm

We hope you will join us as students in Kindergarten through 5th grade will have their science experiments on display for parents, grandparents, friends and family to see!

K – 5 Glebe students & friends are invited to join Glebe Artists/Teachers Mrs. Lewis and Mrs. Westergren for a week of exciting art making, focusing on art and artists from around the world.
