Want to get your own ‘Glebe Day at Nats Park’ t-shirt?

Rhyme & Cheese Night is coming up – submissions due this Friday!

Rhyme & Cheese celebrates Glebe students’ own writing in the hopes that it will encourage a love and excitement for the craft by all who participate and come to listen. The student will share their own original writing on April 30th at 7 pm with the Glebe community in a relaxed atmosphere and hopefully learn to love (or at least get comfortable) speaking in front of others. The Listeners are just as critical as The Writers, so encourage your student to come support their Glebe-mates.

Submissions are due Friday, April 26th and a lottery will be conducted to select 30 students.

Multi-authored pieces are welcome so long as the number of authors does not exceed two. The Submission form can be found at the end of this newsletter or can be printed here and should be turned in the Glebe Lobby.

Glebe 5K/Fun Run

Saturday, May 4 – Woodlawn Park

A PTSA – what is that, you may ask? A PTSA is a Parent, Teacher and Student Association. A
PTSA allows students a voice in their school and opportunities to help plan and organize PTSA-sponsored events under the guidance of parents. Students in a PTSA can contribute to their community in a positive way, and their involvement may help parents become more involved too!

PTA positions – Treasurer open now and next year’s openings

We are IN NEED of interested folks looking to volunteer next year.  The majority of the current Executive Board will hit their term limit in June and will need to step down from their positions.  We NEED members of our community to volunteer to keep PTA support and activities going.  Please contact Kristen at if interested in any position.
