Meet Ellen Smith, our new Principal at Hamm Middle  School, about transitioning to middle school .  Meet and greet rising middle school parents.

STEM Night 

Wednesday, March 13, 6:30-8:00 pm – Glebe Hallways

Happy on Wheels will come to Glebe and present to our kiddos during daytime assemblies.  Ask them what they learned!

PTA positions – Treasurer open now and next year’s openings

We are IN NEED of interested folks looking to volunteer next year.  The majority of the current Executive Board will hit their term limit in June and will need to step down.  We NEED members of our community to volunteer to keep PTA support and activities going.  Please contact Kristen at glebepta@gmail.com if interested in any position.

Want to see your child and their friends in an action shot in the yearbook?  This is the LAST call for all pictures of sports teams, candids, class events (Halloween, Holiday Parties, Valentine’s Day, 100th Day of School, etc.) If you have any pictures you would like to submit, please send high resolution photos to: glebeyearbook1718@gmail.com

Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind arts and craft show! HANDMADE ARLINGTON will have more than 45 arts and crafts makers including many returning favorites and some great new ones too. Science Fair

April 11th, 6:30 – 8 pm

We hope you will join us as students in Kindergarten through 5th grade will have their science experiments on display for parents, grandparents, friends and family to see!

5th Grade Promotion Activities

Reminder that last Friday each child went home with an envelope containing the 5th grade upcoming promotion activities calendar and order form.  Order forms AND money are due by THIS Friday, March 23rd. Order forms and money can be submitted to your homeroom teacher. Money can be submitted via check payable to “Jennifer Thompson”, Cash in an envelope, or PayPal to jcs_thompson@yahoo.com.

For only $100, you will have a chance to win one of the Live Auction items before the live auction bidding begins.  

Prior to the bidding, one Golden Ticket will be drawn.  Winner will choose one of the Live Auction items as their prize.  Prize options include a  a vacation stay at a beautiful home on the beach in North Carolina or the Florida Panhandle or in the mountains near Asheville, North Carolina.  You may also select 2 tickets to see Hamilton or Bon Jovi, or any of the other Live Auction items.
