Artworld II Summer Camp
June 25th – 29th 9 am – 12 pm, Glebe Elementary
Announcement from Mr. Gray:
Dear Glebe Staff, Parents, Students and Community –
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that I will be resigning from my position as Health and Physical Education Teacher at Glebe Elementary School. My last day of teaching for Arlington Public Schools will be June 20, 2018.
After a long period of consideration, my family and I have decided that it would be in our best interest to relocate to an area that would better suit our needs. My wife (who is also an elementary school teacher) and I have both acquired teaching positions with Henrico County Public Schools. We will be moving to the Richmond area over the summer with Neo and Mace in tow.
I truly enjoyed my tenure at Glebe Elementary School. Teaching these students has given me great pleasure over the years and it has been amazing watching them grow and develop. The Glebe parents and community have been so warm, friendly and encouraging, and the administration has always been supportive in my every endeavor.
I am very sad to be leaving, there is no school like Glebe Elementary. I have no doubt that Mr. Herninko and the rest of the wonderful Glebe staff will do an excellent job in educating the students at Glebe Elementary and creating lifelong learners. Thank you so much for these last 10 years. It has been a privilege working alongside you, teaching your children, and high-fiving you at the door.
Sincerely,
Mr. Gray
