Multicultural Night

February 22nd 7 pm

Want to be a GLOBAL HERO? The Multicultural Night committee is looking for volunteers to host foreign country tables. We have 20 countries represented, but we’d like more. Over 30 languages are spoken at Glebe, and we would love to have them all represented! The displays can be elaborate or simple, and you do not have to be from a foreign country to participate. Families have represented countries they have visited or lived in. For more information, contact Sarah Bogdanovich ( or 727-421-7321).

We also need volunteers to help with set-up, registration, and clean-up at Multicultural Night – please sign up here:

School Zone = No Phone!

Dear Glebe Parents:

Parking lot safety has become a big concern and as we have been a growing school, our rules have been growing too. Please follow all school parking and safety rules.

Cell Phones:

Please hang up while in the parking lot.

Staff Parking:

Staff parking is very limited at Glebe, our parking lot has fewer than 50 spaces which is not enough for our 80+ staff members.  The church is very kind to let us use their parking lot.  Please walk, bike or bus to Glebe as often as possible.

Morning Drop Off:

Please plan to use the kiss and drop in the morning if you have to drive your child to school.  This is a very convenient procedure meant to eliminate the need for parking and designed for family convenience.  Patrols are on Duty until 8:50 only. If you arrive after 8:50, the convenience of the patrols opening the doors and helping your student get out of the car and cross to safety is no longer an option and your child is late for school.  Please arrange prior to arriving to school that your child is seated on the drop off side of your car and have all their things ready to leave the car easily and quickly.  If it is very cold or rainy, the patrols will not be on duty.

Afternoon Pick Up:

Afternoon pick up is meant to work the same as drop off, you should drive up to the kiss and drop and your child will be released by a staff member to walk to your car.  Please do not park your car in the kiss and drop and get out and look for your child, this causes major back- ups and again is dangerous.

Church Parking Lot:

The church parking lot for parking only, it is not to be used as a “kiss and drop”.

Extended Day:

Please park your car and walk your child to extended day and the same for the evening.  We have had five incidences of students nearly being hit by cars parked illegally in the crosswalk or beyond it close to the door.  This is not legal or safe.
