The Lost & Found area is once again overflowing!  If you think your child has lost an item, you can click here to see a list of what’s there, or stop by to retrieve your item.  Lost & Found is on the first floor near Ms. Sebastian’s kindergarten classroom.

Glebe 2020 - Nandos

STEM Night

Wednesday, March 11, 6:30-8:00pm

Glebe STEM Night will be held on March 11 from 6:30-8:00pm and get ready for an amazing night of invention and discovery by our young scientists and engineers!!!  We do need a few hands to help make the night go smoothly so please sign up here if you’re available.  Display boards will be on sale before school and on the evening of February 20 for $3.  If you have questions, please contact our STEM Night coordinator, Rachael Scholz.

Yearbook Photos Needed!

Year in and year out, Glebe always has a fantastic yearbook! To make it shine again this year, the designers want to include as many photos of kids and teachers in action as possible. Your help contributing photos you have taken in the school (or at other Glebe events) will be most appreciated!  A Google Drive is in place to house photos, and folders by grade and activity have been created to keep track of different homerooms, specials, resource teachers, events, etc.  Please contribute, and thanks for your help!

Glebe Social & Auction

Saturday, April 25

What is the Glebe Social & Auction? Held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 from 6-10pm at Knights of Columbus, Arlington, the Social & Auction raises funds that cover 80% o

f the PTA’s budget, and brings our school community together for one night in support of that common fundraising goal. It’s free to attend, unless you choose to purchase a drink band, and you can register here. There’s no dress code, but it is an adult only event, so book a sitter now!

Where does the money go? The Social & Auction funds PTA activities including, but not limited to, Grade Specific Projects & Field Trips; After School Enrichment scholarships; Fall Potluck/Movie Night; Book Swap & Book Fair; Spring Showdown; Field Day & Soccer Fiesta; Rhyme & Cheese Night; Multicultural Night; Odyssey of the Mind; August classroom start up money; Teacher grants (for every teacher); Classroom manipulatives; Art, Music, PE, Library, & Spanish activities; Gifted & special needs; Homework Club & Summer School; Teacher Appreciation Week; outdoor landscaping, removal of poison ivy, & garden beds; benches, sunshades & playground equipment; Outdoor Classroom; Walking Path (multi-year project); the Thanksgiving Food Basket Drive; and Glebe Nourishment (food pantry).
How can you participate: Register to attend, purchase a drink band, or make a cash donation here. Contact Lindsey Binstock, Auction Chair, to volunteer your time. Donate a service, experience, or item to be auctioned off here.
